Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was truly a delightful experience. The rooms were not only lovely, comfortable, and luxurious but also had some thoughtful touches like his & hers dressing gowns and homemade individual soap. However, the noise from the pub and the speaker that didn't turn off until late at night was a bit of a drawback.
The hotel might be on the smaller side for the price paid, but it offers a charming view of the churchyard despite the rainy weather. The service was commendable with friendly and attentive staff, though navigating the steps to our room required some effort. The location is excellent and provides a relaxed ambience, while the dining experience, particularly at Platos next door, was satisfying. Overall, a pleasant stay with minor room size concerns.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room in the eaves with exposed beams and town views was stunning, and the thoughtful pet amenities like the dog towel and bowl were a lovely touch. However, the room was a bit too warm for my liking, and the low ceilings in the loft space were cozy but took getting used to. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to accommodate us. The location was excellent, though parking was a bit of a walk. The dining experience was exceptional, especially the poached pineapple with cinnamon. Overall, a great value for money.
